This style began in 2010 at the Pedro Almodovar School of Arts in Ciudad Real. It was born as a result of adolescence and boredom (in the overwhelming Spanish history classes).
A great classmate and friend, Julio and I began to pass a paper and an edding by turns, creating, destroying and making strokes without a goal (apart from surviving the time of explanations about Publius Cornelius Scipio the "African"), and the first two A4 that I still keep with great affection were born.
Originally we called them "Canapés Mortuorios" (the closest translation would be canapé mortuorio, a play on words inspired by the technique "Cadavre exquis", which sounded to us like a sort of macabre refined canivalism). That's why I still use the Hastag #CanapeMortuorio, or KNP (to soften the joke).
With some nostalgia nowadays I do it by myself, trying to draw and look at the work with new eyes every minute, to discover, interpret and build.
